Today, the Louisiana State Police Troop I found a car on the side of the road that is believed to have been used in a double homicide in South Carolina.

A report was issued by the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina this past Sunday for two missing persons. Along with the missing persons report,  a black SUV belonging to one of the person's was also reported missing.

When state police impounded the car, they contacted the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office and learned that the missing people were found murdered. They were also told that a suspect has been identified, 27-year-old Vincente Mendoza (aka Palamino Mendoza, or Mendoza Palamino) of Cope, South Carolina.

He is described as a male, Hispanic, 165 lbs, 5' 4" tall, brown eyes and black hair. He is suspected to still be in the Acadiana area.

Mendoza should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
