Couple Killed In Dual Homicide At IHOP Friday Identified

Lafayette Police are still looking for answers behind a dual homicide that occurred in the parking lot of IHOP Friday night.

Corporal Karl Ratcliff said just after 9 pm officers responded to the scene--in the 3200 block of the Evangeline Thruway--to find two victims, a black male and a black female, died as a result of apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims have been identified as 45-year-old Larry Brown, of Lafayette; and 49-year-old Madrona Brown, of New Orleans.
