Escaped St. Landry Parish Attempted Murder Suspect Back In Custody

Theobegi Levier, a suspect in the attempted murder of a Eunice man, has been captured by St. Landry Parish deputies after being on the run for ten days. In this escape Levier overpowered a deputy at an Opelousas medical clinic to escape.

This was Levier's second escape from authorities. In his first escape Levier broke out the rear window of an Opelousas City Marshal's car and escaped.
