Fatal Crash In St. Landry Parish

Trooper are continuing to investigate after a critical crash happened yesterday on U-S 190 west of Opelousas.  State Police say 27-year-old Ashley Callier took evasive action after a car in front of her started to slow down.  Her went off the road, through a ditch,  hit an embankement and then flipped end over end.  The driver was not seatbelted in, but her four year old son was. Both were taken to a Lafayette hospital.
