Five Lafayette Stores Cited For Selling Alcohol To Underage Buyers

Lafayette Police conducted an underage alcohol buy operation last night, citing five local businesses for selling alcohol to underage buyers.

The Department's Youth Services Section, which conducts the operations, says they used an underage person to try to by alcohol from the businesses.

In all, 24 stores were checked.

The following five stores were cited:

H&C Food Mart      700 North St. Antoine

Eazy's Mini Mart     900 West Simcoe Street

Langlinais Mart      816 West Congress Street

Cost Plus Market   4405 Ambassador Caffery Parkway

The Fresh Market   810 Kaliste Saloom Road
