Former Saints Player Jeff Charleston Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries in Motorcycle Crash

Jeff Charleston, a former New Orleans Saint and current cast member of the Bravo TV show Southern Charm, was involved in a vehicle collision in New Orleans on Sunday, December 22, 2019.

Charleston was thrown from his motorcycle in the crash and suffered a fractured pelvis and other life-threatening injuries.

He has already undergone several surgeries and more are expected. After spending a week in ICU, he has been downgraded from intensive care.

Charleston sends his thanks to the many people who have sent their well wishes and prayers. He and his family ask for privacy as he continues on his path to recovery.

The collision did involve another vehicle and is currently under investigation by the New Orleans Police Department.

Jeff Charleston played in the NFL for seven seasons for three teams including from 2008-2011 with the New Orleans Saints where he was a member of the Super Bowl championship team.
