The Acadia Parish Sheriff's detectives are investigating two home burglaries that happened on Monday, December 3 while the people of both of the dwellings were not home.

Deputies say in both crimes, the rear doors of both of the homes had been kicked in, and they say that multiple things were stolen.

Guns and wrapped Christmas presents were some of the items that were stolen with these break-ins.

The suspect or suspects broke into a home in the 200 block of Don Dr., and the other crime happened near Iota in the 2000 block of McMillan Avenue.

In addition to the guns and gifts, the suspect made off with a Fender guitar, a gold ring with the initials "BCF" and Vizio Smart TV's.
