Iberia Deputies Want Information On A Hit & Run

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a hit and run that happened in the 3500 block of Curtis Lane around 5:50 this morning.

Witnesses say that the 46-year-old victim was trying to cross the road when he was hit by a silver SUV resembling a Nissan Pathfinder. The SUV then stopped for a minute, but then drove off.

The unidentified driver was described as a lady of Asian descent.

The victim is being treated at a hospital for injuries to his head and leg, but as of now, the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
