Iberia Detectives Identify Robbery Suspect

Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal's Office says they believe they know who is resonsible for robbing the Valero Convenience Store at 2709 Old Spanish Trail in New Iberia on April 8 of the this year.

Detectives say they received information that leads them to believe that 32-year-old Tyrone Jackson committed the armed robbery.

The Sheriff's Office says Jackson is already in jail for a separate armed robbery.

Jackson is accused of robbing the Penny Wise Convenience Store on Jane Street on Apirl 7.

Deputies went to the jail to serve Jackson a warrant for armed robbery for the April 8 incident.
