The mislabled product was distributed in Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
The affected product is the 32-ounce plastic bottle of 'Home Alone' branded International Delight Peppermint Mocha Zero Sugar creamer. These bottles come in cases of six and are labeled with a 'BEST BY 02.25.25' date.
Health Risks Associated with Hidden Sugar
While a little extra sugar may seem harmless to some, it can pose real dangers for individuals with diabetes, obesity, or heart disease.
Consuming sugar unknowingly can lead to dangerous spikes in blood glucose levels, which can have severe consequences.
What Should You Do If You Have the Recalled Creamer?
You can throw away the product or return it to the place of purchase. Many retailers are prepared to handle product returns due to recalls.
Retailers are often able to provide a full refund for recalled items. Check with the store where you bought the creamer, and they should guide you on the next steps.
