Jeanerette Man Dies After Being Partially Ejected From Car

Louisiana State Police were called out to a fatal one car crash that happened on Highway 674 early this morning to find 32-year-old Donald Williams Jr was partially ejected from his car, and he later died from his injuries.

State Police Troop I Spokesman Brooks David says they are still investigating why Williams drove his car off the roadway. Williams' car his a mailbox, ditch embankment and stopped in a parking lot.

Williams was not wearing a seat belt, and he died at an area hospital.

Routine toxicology test are being run, and the crash is still under investigation.
