Lafayette Bicyclist Injured In Sunday Night Crash

Lafayette Police were called to the scene of a crash between a motor vehicle and bicyclist on Sunday evening. According to reports, the crash happened on Louisiana Avenue near the intersection with E.Foch Street.

Details are few at this time but based on reports we can tell you that at least one person, the bicyclist,  was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. The extent of those injuries is not known at this time. The driver of the motor vehicle stayed behind with the police.

As of now, no charges have been filed and the identities of the individuals involved in the incident are being withheld pending completion of the police investigation into this matter.
