Lafayette Cell Phone Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Lafayette Police are investigating an armed robbery at a cell phone store on Ambassador Caffery Parkway this afternoon.

The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the retail location near Ambassador Caffery and Kaliste Saloom Road.

Lafayette PD said in a Facebook post, the suspect robbed an employee at gunpoint and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a tall thin black male wearing a yellow hoodie with black and grey pants.

No one was injured in the incident.
