Lafayette Man Shot In Drive-By Shooting ; Shooter Still Loose

The drive-by shooting occurred on Johnston street where Donald Faul, of Milton, was hit in the leg while driving his car. Faul crashed his car near the 6800 block of Johnston, near Maurice, after driving while injured.  The incident occurred yesterday on the northbound lanes of Highway 167.

The passenger that was riding along with Faul was uninjured.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is attempting to get a description of the shooter's car along with a motive.

Deputies believe that there was some sort of contact between the victim and the shooter, but those details are unclear at this time.
