Update: 19-year-old Patrick Henry Jr. has been arrested.

Cpl. Bridgette Dugas says he was apprehended on Thursday, Jan. 5 near the 300 block of Delord Street after officers conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, officers say Henry had a firearm with him. Henry was arrested for actives warrants which included Aggravated Second Degree Battery, Armed Robbery, Carrying a Firearm on School Property, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Illegal Discharge of a Weapon and Simple Criminal Damage to Property and has been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

A 15-year-old male juvenile wanted for Simple Escape and Burglary was also in the same vehicle as Henry. He was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Juvenile Detention Center.

29-year-old Terri Johnson is accused of aiding Henry. She has been arrested for six counts of accessory after the fact and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

In an unrelated story, another fugitive, 20-year-old Ronald Guidry, has been arrested for Aggravated Second Degree Battery for an incident that happened on Christmas Day 2016 on E'Clinton Street. He's been booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and has a $27,500 bond.

The Lafayette Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a 19-year-old fugitive who is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said Patrick Henry Jr., of Lafayette, is wanted for a host of violent crimes including: Aggravated Second Degree Battery, Armed Robbery, Carrying a Firearm on School Property, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Illegal Discharge of a Weapon and Simple Criminal Damage to Property.

Dugas said the suspect is aware that he is being sought by police.

Henry is thought to be harbored by individuals within Lafayette. Authorities warn residents that anyone found to be aiding, preventing apprehension or harboring this fugitive will be placed under arrest for the appropriate offense upon his capture.

If located, police say rather than approach the suspect, you should call 911.
