Around 3:45 this morning, Lafayette Police says a 60-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in the 2000 block of East Simcoe Street.

The man told police he was walking down the street when two black males walked up to him armed with guns.

The victim says he was pushed to the ground, and the suspects wanted him to empty out his pockets.

The victiim complied, and the two suspects took off with his wall and cellphone.

The two suspects then took off towards the area of 12th Street.

Police say the victim told them that both suspects were about six feet tall, and they were both wearing black clothing.

The victim says he wasn't hurt during the crime.
