Lafayette’s Reported Crime Rate Falls
Reported crime has dropped in Lafayette for the second year in a row. Police Chief Jim Craft says it fell six percent last year. Craft partially credits the decrease to an increased emphasis on traffic law enforcement that has actually led to more arrests for people with outstanding warrants.
