Obviously the missing law equipment in Acadia Parish didn't "grow legs and walk away", but the people who own this stuff sure hope someone saw something that will help them recover their items.

Acadia Paris Crime Stoppers is asking for help in finding a utility trailer loaded down with equipment that was stolen the night of September 3 near Rayne in the 5500 block of the Church Point Highway.

Someone used a cutting torch to cut off the lock from the trailer, and they were able to make off with some pricey items totalling more than $12,000.

Crime Stoppers officials are hoping a tip will lead them to be able recover the following:

A gray and red 60" Exmark Zero Turn Lawn Mower

A gas lawn edger from Shindaiwa

Two red weed eaters made by Shindaiwa

A gas leaf blower, also made by Shindaiwa

The pictures included in this story are not the exact items, but are similar to the items that were stolen.

If you can give any information to Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers, please call 337-789-TIPS(8477).
