Louisiana Man Arrested for 36th Time
A Lake Charles man has been arrested for the 36th time in his life. I don't know if that's a record for incarceration but it certainly would be impressive if getting arrested was the kind of activity that impressed right minded people. It isn't, by the way.
When you consider that fact the Gary Jamine Tezeno is only 38, those 36 arrests have meant that he's had to double up or triple up in some years just to manage the sheer volume of his criminal activity. This past Monday Tezeno earned his 36th arrest in a very big way.
It all started with a traffic stop in Jeff Davis Parish. Well, it would have been a stop of Tezeno had actually stopped for officers. Instead, he drove off leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit that ended when Tezeno crashed the vehicle he was driving near a gas station in Welsh.
Tezeno then continued the pursuit on foot. That's when Welsh police enlisted the aid of a K-9 Officer named Bean. Bean and the boys from Welsh PD discovered Tezeno near North Polk Street and Rowson Streets. That's where he was taken into custody and charged with a myriad of offenses.
Among those offenses, as reported by KATC were: speeding, driving under suspension, aggravated flight from an officer, resisting an officer, possession of a legend drug, and transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.
