An arrest has been made in connection with the death of Adan Manzano, who was in New Orleans covering Super Bowl LIIX.

WWL reports that Danette Colbert, of Slidell, has been arrested after the Kansas City reporter was found dead in his hotel room this week.

Surveillance footage from the hotel showed Colbert with Manzano when they entered his room. However, she was the only one seen exiting the room before he was found dead inside the room.

According to the report, Colbert was allegedly using the reporter's credit card at various stores in the city, which led police to her.

New Orleans Police said Colbert has "a history" of financial crimes and has been accused of drugging men, stealing their money, and using their credit cards.

For now, the Slidell woman faces fraud and theft charges. The investigation into the reporter's death is ongoing and it is not clear if Colbert will face any additional charges.

We will continue to follow this developing story from New Orleans.
