Missing Opelousas Teen Found Safe

Some good news to a story that first broke last night: The 15-year-old boy from Opelousas who went missing this weekend is safe and sound today.

KATC reports that Jaydon Burns was found earlier today. Police did not immediately release any other details about where Burns was found, but they did say he was "safe."

Burns had been missing since Saturday. He had been seen at a number of different locations in town, including the Walmart and near the Church's Chicken near the intersection of Prudhomme and Main Streets.
