More work for Richfield Road

More road improvements are coming to highway 343 (Richfield Road) in Lafayette Parish about 1 mile north of highway 342.

 343  will be closed to remove & replace a cross drain beginning at 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2010, provided that the weather cooperates.   A detour will consist of highways 720, 719 & 342.  The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development says they appreciate the public's patience and reminds people to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
