The suspect wanted in connection with an Opelousas armed robbery is now in custody.

Opelousas police say the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office helped them arrest Kayvyon Sapp. According to OPD officials, Lafayette deputies found Sapp at a home on Vermilion Street in Lafayette and took him into custody.

Sapp is accused of robbing three people in the Walmart parking lot last night. He is facing three counts of armed robbery. Opelousas police say more charges are pending.
