Opelousas United Way Needs Donations, Volunteers To Serve Flood Victims

The United Way distribution center in Opelousas needs various supplies as well as volunteers to assist those affected by flooding.

KATC reports that volunteers are needed immediately to help sort and box items for flood victims at the distribution center located at 619 Creswell Lane.

Needed supplies include:

Razors

Deodorant

Washcloths

Mouthwash

Toothpaste

Breakfast items like grits, oatmeal, toaster pastries, granola bars, etc.

Pop-top food items like soup, vienna sausage, canned pasta, etc.

Peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers, etc.
