Viral Video Shows Hundreds Partying Without Masks In Texas

I think this is what I would call the opposite of social distancing.

A video that has been shared nearly 10,000 times within 12 hours on Facebook shows a massive gathering of people at an outdoor event in Texas. The video was shared by the official Houston Zydeco Live page, but numerous people in the comments of the live video claim that this gathering took place in Mabank, TX.

At first, some speculated that the video was old, but even though just about everyone in the crowd seems to be maskless, I spotted one possible mask in the front row and a few people on stage had them on, including the DJ. The clip was also from a live video on Facebook that was timestamped from Saturday (July 18).

There isn't much information about this event other than speculation that it took place in Mabank, TX but with hundreds of thousands of people testing positive in Texas in the middle of a pandemic, this definitely doesn't seem like the smartest move.

To be quite honest, it gave me anxiety just watching this video given the recent spikes we've seen when it comes to COVID-19.
