Powerball & Texas Lottery Confirm Single Ticket Jackpot Win

Single Ticket Wins Powerball Jackpot of $256 Million

Our sources at Powerball confirmed that one ticket sold across the game's 45 state and multiple territories footprint did match all the numbers needed to win the game's top prize. That big-money winner was sold in New York. However, we do have information on a confirmed big win from the Texas Lottery.

We got word just after midnight from the Texas Lottery offices in Austin, that a Texas-sold ticket just missed the jackpot. That ticket matched four of five white balls and it matched the Powerball. The prize earned by that ticket is $50,000.

Lotto Texas with Extra! Continues to Grow Its Jackpot - Now $48.5 Million
