Lafayette Woman Turns Herself in Following Alleged Theft at Scott Grocery Store
UPDATE: 24-year-old Kori Duhon of Lafayette has turned herself in after tips to the Scott Police Department identified her as a suspect in a theft that happened at a local grocery store.
Scott Police Chief Chad Leger says Duhon had an active warrant through the Lafayette Police Department. She's been transported to Lafayette Parish Correctional Center where she was booked for the warrant and one count of theft.
No bond information has been given.

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger says their detectives are working to figure out who the woman is from a surveillance video who was stealing things from a store.
According to investigators, the woman could be seen on tape walking through the grocery store in Scott and putting a bunch of items into a large black bag on Friday, December 27th around noon.
The woman was wearing a leopard print hair cover while wearing pink pants and a gray tank top that has pink trim on it. Leger says the woman has a tattoo on her upper right arm and the area of her lower right arm. Investigators say the woman left the store with the items, and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
