Scott Police Chief Chad Leger is hoping that someone can help them identify the woman seeing stealing a package from the porch of a home in Scott.

In a press release, Chief Leger says an unknown woman walked onto a porch in the 100 block of Breckenridge Loop and ripped off a package. All of this happened in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 16.

Leger is hoping someone can identify the woman pictured with this story. He says she is described as being a white female with hair in a ponytail. He adds her hairstyle could be that the sides and back of her head are shaved.

This woman was seen wearing dark-colored pants along with a white t-shirt and white shoes.

After making off with the package that didn't belong to her, they say it looks like she got into a maroon Kia Forte in the area around Dulles Drive.

If you know the identity of this porch pirate, the Scott Police Department asks that you give them a call at 337-233-3715. You can also call Lafayette Crime Stopper at 232-TIPS(8477). You do not have to give any information about yourself when calling.
