LEBEAU, La. (KPEL) -- Police in the St. Landry Parish town of Lebeau are investigating the Wednesday morning robbery of a supermarket.

According to a release from St. Landry Crime Stoppers, "two males wearing dark blue hoodies broke into Stelly's Supermarket...and stole approximately $3,000 worth of cigarettes."

The two suspects are seen on surveillance camera leaving in a dark-colored single cab pickup truck with no tailgate, according to the release.

Investigators ask that if you know of anyone trying to sell Kook, Newport, or Maverick cigarettes, call St. Landry Crime Stoppers at 948-TIPS.
