The Lafayette Police Department has announced the arrest of a Baton Rouge man wanted for allegedly administering silicone injections to a woman who later died.

Cpl. Karl Ratcliff said 33-year-old Vincent Boles was arrested by U.S. Marshal Task Force agents on Sept. 19 in Texas on charges including negligent homicide and practicing medicine without a license.

Boles is being held at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center following his extradition from Texas.

Ratcliff said, on Aug. 30,  Lafayette PD was contacted after 23-year-ol Brionna Guillory died in the Lake Charles area. Guillory had received silicone injections from Boles in a Lafayette hotel room.

This was not the first time Boles had given Guillory the injections, upon her request, but the most recent time did occur in Lafayette.

The Lafayette Police Department  is warning against engaging in any such procedure outside of a licensed facility with a licensed professional. It is extremely dangerous.
