Suspect Sought in Attempted Robbery on Peppermill Drive

Lafayette Police are investigating after an attempted robbery in the 100 block of Peppermill Drive.

Police say the two women were sitting outside of their home when they say a black male suspect approached them.

They say he pulled out a handgun and demanded money, but neither of the victims responded to the suspect.

The suspect fled, and no injuries were reported.

The victims describe the suspect as being a middle aged man wearing a light colored hooded sweat shirt and blue jean shorts.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
