(KPEL-FM) Monday night is a busy night for fans of the Texas Lottery. The Austin-based lottery features two drawings in Texas-only games and the multi-state Powerball game when they host drawings on Monday nights. All three of those lottery games featured big-money payouts for Texas players. Let's see if you're included.

In recent weeks Powerball has made a one million dollar winner in San Antonio as well as paying out a $150,000 prize in Cedar Hill. Lotto Texas with Extra! paid out a $10,000 prize to a winner in Lone Tree. And there was a $500,000 Texas Two-Step winner confirmed in San Antonio a little over a month ago.

What Were the Winning Lottery Numbers in Texas Last Night?

So, while Lady Luck is in a giving mood here in the Lone Star State, let's see just how much "love" she had for Texas tickets in Monday's round of "draw games". The game that gets the most attention on Monday is usually Powerball.

The fact that Powerball was offering an estimated annuitized jackpot of over $100 million may have had something to do with the extra attention. If you played Powerball with the Texas Lottery, here is how that drawing unfolded for Monday, April 14, 2025.

Despite your best efforts, "America's Favorite Jackpot Game" did not create a new millionaire in Texas last night. The game did create a new millionaire in New York. A ticket sold there matched all five of the white balls earning a prize of one million dollars. And the ticket's purchaser opted for the Power Play function of the game which doubled the winnings from one million to two million dollars according to our sources at Powerball.

What Were the Powerball Numbers on Monday Night?

Over 18,000 Powerball tickets sold in Texas earned a prize on Monday. Of those 18,000-plus winners 7,831 opted to enhance their winnings by paying for the Power Play option. The largest Powerball prize for a Texas ticket on Monday was a $50,000 winner. That ticket matched four of five white balls and the Powerball.

If you'd like to check your Powerball numbers here is what we saw rolling out of the hopper during last night's drawing.

Lotto Texas with Extra! also held a drawing on Monday. That game's top prize was estimated to be $12.5 million but no tickets sold in Texas made that match. There were two tickets that did match five of the six balls and they opted for the "Extra" function of the game.

Their prize from last night was $12,613. Meanwhile, another five tickets earned a prize for that same number match scenario but without the "Extra". Those tickets are valued at $2,613 this morning.

Did Anyone Win Texas the Texas Two-Step Lottery on Monday?

Monday's biggest win in Texas came from the Texas Two-Step game. That game featured a top prize of $200,000 before last night's drawing and there was a ticket sold that matched all the numbers needed to claim that prize from the Texas Lottery.

Our sources at the Texas Lottery confirmed that a single ticket sold at Stop N Bye#2 on Highway 105 in Brenham, Texas matched all the numbers needed to claim the jackpot prize of $200,000.  All in all, the Texas Lottery confirmed over 15,000 winning tickets were sold for Texas Two-Step on Monday.

Your next chance to become Texas' newest millionaire will come tonight in the Mega Millions lottery draw. The top prize in that game is $96 million. And remember Mega Millions has made significant changes to the way that game is played.

What Are the Changes in the Mega Millions Lottery Game?

One of the biggest changes is the price. You used to pay $2 for a ticket or $3 for a ticket with the Megaplier. Now all tickets are $5 and come with a multiplier included. In just a couple of drawings, the changes in the game have proven to be a financial windfall for players. Mega Millions will draw at 10 tonight.

Please remember that most lottery tickets purchased do not produce a return on your investment. There is a serious risk that you could lose your money. Please play responsibly and if you need help with a gambling problem call 1-800 - GAMBLER. Good Luck.
