It was another big-winner weekend for lottery players in the state of Texas. The Texas Lottery has confirmed that several tickets purchased in the Lone Star State were "big-money" winners in the multi-state and state-sponsored lottery games that held drawings on Friday and Saturday nights.

Over the weekend the Mega Millions game held its drawing on Friday night for $306 million. The Powerball game held its drawing on Saturday night for $132.5 million. Lotto Texas with Extra! held its drawing also on Saturday and the top prize in that game was estimated to be $8.25 million.

We have good news and bad news in regard to those lottery draw games. The bad news, none of the games produced a jackpot winner. The good news? All three of the games produced winning tickets that could be considered life-changing.

Texas Lottery Confirms Mega Millions Winners on Friday

As we mentioned there was no jackpot winner in Friday's (July 26, 2024) Mega Millions drawing. Here is how the drawing played out.

The numbers that we saw bounding out of the Mega Millions hopper were:

02   14   33   58   65   Megaball 03   Megaplier x3

Use those numbers for reference and please verify your ticket at the Official Mega Millions Website of the Official Texas Lottery Website. Those sites can confirm your winnings and explain the procedure to claim your prize.

Texas-sold tickets for Mega Millions on Friday did earn some big money prizes. Five tickets sold in Texas matched four of the five white balls so each of those tickets wins a prize of $10,000. But two of the $10,000 winners opted for the Megaplier so their prize is tripled to $30,000.

Texas Lottery Confirms Powerball Winners on Saturday

The state's other big multi-state draw game is Powerball. That game held a drawing on Saturday night. There was no jackpot winner but Texas-sold tickets did earn some big money prizes in that game as well. If you weren't aware Saturday's Powerball drawing was delayed but they eventually got the balls to bounce out of the hopper.

The numbers that we saw rolling out of the hopper were:

03   31   37   40   64   Powerball 17    Power Play x3

Use those numbers for reference and please verify your ticket at either the Official Powerball Website or the Official Texas Lottery Website. Those sites can confirm a winning ticket and can offer information on how to claim your prize.

As we noted there were no jackpot winners on Saturday in Powerball but a Texas ticket matched four of five on the white balls and earned $50,000. Another ticket sold in Texas matched that same scenario, four of five white balls, but that ticket's purchaser opted for the Powerball so their prize is $150,000.
