It was a busy weekend across Texas this past weekend from Dalhart to Dallas and Paris to El Paso a lot of Texans were enjoying cool crisp mornings and warm fall afternoons. For some it was a good football weekend, for others, it was the kind of football weekend you don't want to remember, right Longhorns? And while everyone couldn't be a winner on Saturday, the Texas Lottery has confirmed that a lot of you who played Powerball in Texas did just fine once the ping pong balls had settled down.

This past Saturday the multi-state Powerball jackpot was estimated to be $436.6 million. That's the estimate for the annuity. The lump sum estimate for Saturday's drawing was $210.5 million. Either way, if you won, the amount of money heading in your direction would be life-changing, to say the least.

Let's show you the drawing from Saturday in case you missed it.

Our sources at Powerball say no tickets sold across the game's footprint matched the numbers needed to claim the jackpot prize of $436.6 million. So that number will be going up until the game draws again tonight, Monday night, October 21, 2024.

The estimated top prize for tonight's Powerball game will be $456 million for the annuity. If you win and choose the cash option or lump sum payout you should be expecting $219.9 million. That figure is before the tax man checks in and takes his or her cut.

Our insiders at the Texas Lottery tell us that 61,592 tickets sold in Texas are winners. That means they earned a prize of at least four dollars. However, there were more than a few tickets that earned quite a bit more than $4 bucks playing Powerball on Saturday.

The Texas Lottery has confirmed one ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers and the Powerball with the Power Play option on board. That ticket earned a prize of $150,000 on Saturday. It was the largest single prize paid out by the Texas Lottery for Saturday's Powerball. There were four other tickets that matched the same number scenario but those ticket purchasers did not opt for the Power Play so their prize is listed at $50,000.

The numbers that were drawn on Saturday night were:

07   16   19   45   64   Powerball 25   Power Play x3

Please verify those numbers at the Official Texas Lottery Website or the Official Powerball Website. Those sites are the official sites of record when it comes to Powerball numbers. Also, they have information on how to best claim your prize should you be fortunate enough to win one.

There was no jackpot winner in the Lotto Texas with Extra! game either on Saturday. The Texas Lottery did reveal that four tickets sold for Saturday's drawing in that game earned a prize of $12,651 while another 11 other tickets earned a prize of $2,651. You can see the difference "playing and paying for the Extra" can make in that game, can't you?

Both Powerball and Lotto Texas with Extra! will draw again tonight. Lotto Texas with Extra! has a top prize of $31.25 million. The Powerball jackpot is $456 million. The Best Christmas and Holiday Items You Can Find At Buc-ee's Right Now

I recently walked into a Buc-ee's in Fort Worth and even though we are still days away from Halloween, they already had some Christmas and holiday decor and gifts available for purchase. These are the best items I found that were available as of 10/21/24. Of course, availability will differ.
