Despite the lack of electricity in storm-damaged Houston and the surrounding suburbs over the weekend there was more than enough "juice" to power up some $150,000 in big-money wins by Texas Powerball players on Saturday. The Texas Lottery has confirmed there were two big money winners from Saturday's drawing that were sold in the Lone Star State.

The Texas Lottery and Powerball have also confirmed that no tickets sold across the game's footprint matched the numbers needed to claim the top prize of $77.5 million which was up for grabs during Saturday's drawing.

Speaking of Saturday's drawing for Powerball, here's how that looked.

The numbers selected at random for Saturday, May 18, 2024, were:

19   36   37   42   59   Powerball 19  Power Play x2

You'll want to verify those numbers at the Official Powerball website or the Official Texas Lottery website. When you verify your numbers there you can see exactly how much money you have coming back. Hopefully, you will have at least a little money headed your way.

Our sources at the Texas Lottery have revealed that some 94 Texas-sold tickets earned a prize of $100 in Saturday's drawing. Another 42 tickets sold in Texas for Saturday's Powerball game matched the numbers needed to claim a prize of $200.

As we mentioned there was also a $50,000 winner sold in Texas and a $100,000 winner too. Both of the big-money winners matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. The $100,000 winning ticket opted for the Power Play option.
