Did Mega Millions Get a Winner in Texas?

Let's just say Lady Luck snuggled up to more than a few Texas players for Friday's Mega Millions multi-state lottery drawing. There was an estimated 453 million reasons why Texas players would want to try their luck on Mega Millions last night. The Texas Lottery has confirmed multiple tickets sold for the May 24, 2024 drawing earned prizes of $10,000 or more.

If you missed the Friday draw, here's how it played out.

If you were unable to see the video the numbers drawn were:

46   54   56   67   70   Mega Ball 16   Megaplier x3

Use those numbers for reference but do verify your ticket before you attempt to claim a prize by visiting the Official Mega Millions Website or the Official Texas Lottery Website.

There was no jackpot winner in Friday's Mega Millions so the game's top prize will be an estimated annuitized $453 million for Tuesday night. The lump sum, should you win and choose that, will be an estimated $226.4 million.

Our sources at the Texas Lottery tells us a Mega Millions ticket sold in Houston at the Polar Express Store on Blalock Street matched all five of the white balls to earn the Match 5 Million prize. The ticket also invoked the Megaplier, which was "times 3" so that means the Houston, Texas ticket is worth a cool $3 million.

The Texas Lottery winning details page suggests there was another million dollar winner sold in Texas for last night but that has not been confirmed our Austin, Texas sources. We do know there were other big winners sold in Texas for Friday's Mega Millions.

We are being told that at least two Mega Millions winners sold in Texas are worth $10,000 this morning and a third winner is worth $30,000. All of those tickets matched four white balls and the Mega Ball. The $30,000 winner opted for the Megaplier.
