Tips Wanted About Drive By Shooting

Officials with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office are hoping that someone will be able to give them the information that they need to solve a drive by shooting.

Today, the drive by shooting that happened on Rupert Lake Road is being featured by Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers.

Someone decided to fire a shot into a home in the 1200 block of Ruper Lake Road, and a person was shot.

According to officials with the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office, this was just a random act.

They do have video of a single cab truck that is white in color, and they are hoping that someone will come forward anonymously to give detectives information on who is responsible for this incident.

Thankfully, the victim did not receive life threatening injuries.

Investigators say all of this happened at around 10 o'clock on the night of November 2, and this home is south of the area of Eunice.
