Two trucks in Acadiana were intentionally set on fire and now a family member of one of the truck owners is asking for your help in identifying those responsible.

IIa Bonin Duchamp took this photo of the truck still on fire and says it happened at Sandy Cove Landing. Two trucks were set on fire, and the license plates were removed from both.

Duchamp says one of the trucks set on fire at the landing belongs to his brother, and it was his only form of transportation to work.

You are asked to notify the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-369-3711 if you have any information on this fire.

Since Duchamp's original social media post, other vehicles in South Louisiana have been set on fire, and now authorities are asking if the same person may be behind those vehicle fires.

We remind you, to never leave anything valuable in your vehicle, not because someone may burn your vehicle. Still, in addition to these vehicle fires, we've reported on the rash of break-ins and vehicle thefts in Acadiana.
