Officers ended up catching two people while they attempted to steal another side-by-side, this time from the Lafayette location.

Deputies arrested 37-year-old Christopher Lee Garcia and 42-year-old Armando Rosas who are both from Channelview, Texas.

They each face one count of Attempted Theft for the incident at the Lafayette location and one count of Felony Theft from the November incident in Acadia Parish.

Sheriff KP Gibson says,

This was outstanding investigative work performed by law enforcement personnel with both the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office and the Lafayette Police Department. Though the arrests have been made, there is still a lot of work to be done regarding these cases. I am proud of the work and cooperation between our agencies to arrest these suspects.
