Officials with the Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers program say that two 18-wheelers were stolen from the Duson area this month.

According to officials with the program, there was a 2014 Peterbuilt Freightliner that was taken on the night of Monday, August 10 from the truck stop that is located in the 100 block of the Frontage Road. According to information from police, the truck has "Dailey Trucks, LLC" clearly written on the cab of the 18-wheeler. The trailer of this big rig is a flatbed that is black in color, and it's a Matrix brand. Two suspects can be seen around this area who were each in a Dodge Ram Dually trucks. One suspect was white, and the other suspect was black.

On the night of August 14, there were four people who showed up at that same location in Duson, and this time, the same kind of 18-wheeler was stolen, but this Peterbuilt has a flatbed trailer that is the Fontaine brand. This trailer had a bunch of tubing on the back. Now, officials say they did find the truck cab later on, but the tubing and trailer were gone. During this theft, four suspects can be seen in a BMW sedan. Police say it was a light-colored BMW.

Police are hoping that someone has some information that can help them make some arrests in this case.
