Two Sex Offenders Busted By Iberia Parish Sheriff For Not Following The Law

Iberia Parish Sheriff Louis Ackal says that deputies have arrested two men for not complying with the sex offender laws in Louisiana.

In the first case, deputies arrested 49-year-old Carroll Longnon of 7116 East Admiral Doyle in Jeanerette for failing to notify deputies that he had a change in his employment status.  Longnon was arrested by the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office Sex Offender Registry Unit for giving false information to deputies about his sex offender status.

In the second case, 41-year-old Anthony Londo of 5102 East Highway 90 was arrested by deputies for failing to notify them that he had a change of address.  They learned about this while doing their routine compliance check of local sex offenders.  Londo was arrested for not completing a community notification as is required because he is a sex offender.

Both men had their bond set at 25-thousand dollars.
