Two Shooting Suspects Sought In New Iberia

At 10:00pm Saturday Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of Yvonne Street. The victim told deputies on arrival at his home he was approached by two black men one of whom produced a gun and shot him once in each leg.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect who fired the was described as being approximately six feet tall wearing a grey sweatshirt with a cross on the back of the shirt.
