** UPDATE ** Surveillance Video Released Of Robbery Suspect

An update on a story KPEL reported on last week. The Lafayette Police Department has released surveillance video from the armed robbery of the 'On The Run' convenience store at 1339 SE Evangeline Thru-way. According to police the suspect entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot towards Pinhook Road with an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is described as being a black male standing six feet tall, wearing a dirty white shirt and blue jeans.
