Waffle House On Lafayette’s Evangeline Thruway Robbed
The Lafayette Police department is trying to identify and catch the man responsible for holding up the Waffle House in the 2100 block of the Northeast Evangeline Thruway this morning.
No one was injured during the crime.
Police were called out the eatery around 12:25 a.m. after employees said the man walked into the business armed, and then he demanded money.
He took money from the register and ran out the back door.
The suspect was last seen running in the direction of Dale Street.

Employees say it was a black male in his 20s who robbed the place.
Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Lafayette Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
