UPDATE: Best Buy Reopened Following Bomb Threat
UPDATE: The store has been reopened. Emergency personnel found no danger or threat of harm.

The Lafayette Police Department and Lafayette Fire Department personnel are currently inspecting Best Buy in Lafayette for a possible bomb threat.
The electronics store located in the 5600 block of Johnston Street has been evacuated.
Police spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton told KPEL a note was found in one of the restrooms on the premises. Store personnel evacuated the store as emergency teams began searching the building.
Mouton said if there is no threat to be found the store will be turned over to Best Buy management.
