Cochon Butcher Named Best Restaurant in Louisiana by Love Foods
A New Orleans restaurant has been named the best in Louisiana by LoveFood.com. Cochon Butcher, located at 930 Tchoupitoulas Street, earned the top spot thanks to its incredible meats and mouth-watering sandwiches.
Here's what they had to say...
"No fewer than five full-time butchers are responsible for the fresh cuts of meat, sausages, and cured meats at Cochon Butcher. All the love and attention that goes into the restaurant’s artisanal meat really shows in the spot's sandwiches, plus the charcuterie and sausage plates, served up at the counter. A Louisiana invention, the muffuletta, is executed to perfection – house meats, provolone, and olive salad are piled into house-baked bread, delivered direct from Cochon’s sister restaurant, La Boulangerie. The stacked Butcher Burger is another customer favorite."

Cochon Butcher is inspired by old-fashioned butchers and charcuterie shops, and the team takes pride in their craft. They prepare, smoke, and cure over 2,000 pounds of meat and sausage every week—not just for their menu but also for their sister restaurants in the Link Restaurant Group.
